Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's combat sport journey began at 14 years old. Aspen Ladd trained in BJJ, kickboxing boxing and wrestling before making her amateur debut at WCFC when she was 18. Ladd later went on to beat three times over the course of a row at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of the fighters she beat had been defeated in the first minutes. Ladd returned to WCFC and beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen has already beaten Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking against Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia was beaten by Aspen and defeated her by unanimity to create the blemish on Aspen's amateur record. Ladd recovered from this loss and defeated Roma Pawelek, taking her record to 8-1. Aspen signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to get her first professional fight. Invicta Fc 11, she took on Ana Carolina Vidal and won her fight in the opening round by TKO. Invicta 16 saw Aspen move into the Bantamweight division after winning the fight against Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen was dominant McGill by wrestling her to the ground to finish her off with the third round TKO. In the following fight, she took on Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 at catchweight(138.1lb) because Ladd did not reach her weight, but Aspen was a dominant Hoy and defeated her in the second round via TKO. It was Invicta's FC 21 that she fought her last event for the company. Invicta FC21, she defeated Sijara Banks by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 with Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina via a fight that was a foot and pound win in the 2nd Round. Then, in her third fight she defeated Tonya Evinger in a way that was even more spectacular. Ladd won over Evinger within the first minute as well as a win of the night bonus. Her first fight of note came when she fought her second opponent in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos vs. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Her victory was an unanimous decision and her Fight of the Night award came to both fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd in just 16 seconds in order to stop her winning streak. The third time she fought on UFC in ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. The last time she fought for the UFC she took on Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 in a rematch fight. The fight was unanimously decided against her.
