Canadian actress. Matchett is a native of Spalding in Saskatchewan. She began her career as an actor after her move to Ontario. In the mid-nineties she began her acting career on Canadian television after which she moved back to the United States and starred in the series The Secrets of Nero Wolfe Invasion 24 Hours Studio 60 which aired on the Sunset Strip Ambulance Earth. It was the Last Conflict. She won the Gemini Award in 2001 for her performance as Estelle on Canadian television show The Department of Wet Cases. In addition, she played the wife of one of Impact's main characters over several seasons. In the TV program Covert Operations, she plays the role of Joan Campbell.
